How does recital benefit my dancer?

 

Recital performances promote teamwork,

provide goals, & build confidence! Taking part in the annual recital helps dancers to overcome shyness, fear, anxiety and stage fright. It gives them an artistic outlet and allows them to express themselves through movement and music. Preparing for recital will help your dancer with memorization, rhythm, technique, & pride in all of these skills as they apply them to other aspects of their life. Just like sports players have games, dancers have dance recitals! They get to show off what they have been working for all season!
